June 24, 2011 Fluorescence Innovations will introduce the NovaFluor PRO Protein Stability Plate Reader at the Colorado Protein Stability Conference, July 18-20. Designed to rapidly determine protein stability as a function of temperature and chemical environment, the NovaFluor PRO is fast and easy to use, uses small amounts of protein with a low cost per sample, and is also available with a protein aggregation option. See us there to learn more or contact us directly. |
February 18, 2011 Fluorescence Innovations, Inc. announced today that the University of Colorado, Department of Molecular Biology, has chosen the NovaFluorTM PR Fluorescence Lifetime Plate Reader as a platform to develop high-throughput stability assays for membrane protein crystallization as part of the NIH Protein Structure Initiative. The NovaFluorTM PR uses Fluorescence Innovations proprietary Direct Waveform Recording™. Professor Michael Stowell, Head of the Protein Characterization Project at the University of Colorado said, "We are looking forward to working with Fluorescence Innovations to develop high-throughput stability assays for membrane proteins that will help advance the goals of the Protein Structure Initiative." Fluorescence Innovations develops and markets instrumentation for the rapid and precise determination of fluorescence lifetime waveforms in biological systems. Applications include ligand binding assays and fluorescent protein measurements in live cells, in addition to protein conformation. |
